The Psych Central team had its first holiday party last week. Pandemic or no pandemic, as a team that spans five time zones, we had no choice but to bring the party virtually. We had so much to celebrate, and by the end of our party, we were all in tears.

The year 2021 was a big transition for all of us. Not only was 2021 Psych Central’s first year as a part of Healthline Media, but it was also our first year as a team! Many of us left other roles, moved to new cities, and said hard goodbyes to familiar things to make way for something new.

The common thread for all of us was a shared passion for mental health content that is deeply rooted in our experiences. As we reflect on the millions of page views, countless comments, likes, shares, and emails, we are humbled that you’ve joined us for the ride.

As we navigate this holiday season and enter into a new year, we want to thank you for your support. Your voices, perspectives, and insights have fueled everything we create. Whether you join us to begin your mental health journey or navigate a mental health condition, we know you have a choice. You chose us, and that’s really great.

On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to wish you a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season. If living through a pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we can’t predict what’s next. But we can promise to continue to amplify the voices of the mental health community and advocate for our collective right to heal. You are not alone in your journey. We are here.
See you next year!
