Preview of the end of ESA's Smart-1 mission to the moon

Europe's first ever Moon mission, Smart-1 is coming to a dramatic end on September 3rd 2006 when it will be crashed in to the lunar surface. This controlled suicide plunge will add a final opportunity to learn about the Moon, building on Smart's incredibly successful mission.

Members of the media are invited to attend this briefing to learn about the successes of Smart-1 and to hear of its final spiral to smackdown on the Moon.
