About Blaise Aguirre, MD
Blaise Aguirre, MD, is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an expert in child and adolescent psychiatry focusing primarily in the use of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in the treatment of young people exhibiting self-endangering behaviors and borderline personality disorder (BPD). He is the founding medical director of McLean 3East, a residential DBT program for young women who struggle with emotion regulation and borderline personality disorder. He is nationally and internationally recognized for his extensive work in the treatment of mood and personality disorders in adolescents. He lectures regularly throughout the world.
