Lauren Aikin-Smith, MPH, MSW, LSW, CHES

Lauren currently works as a health and sexuality educator at a University in Pittsburgh, PA and has over ten years of experience. She earned both her Master of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences and Master of Social Work the University of Pittsburgh and is currently a doctoral student in Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University. In addition to personal experience with anxiety, Lauren also teaches about mental health issues, treatment, and support in the community. She also serves as a foster parent and has gained much of her insight from this challenging, yet rewarding experience.
