I Have Trouble Functioning

Asked by on with 1 answer:

From the U.S.: I lose track of time……I cant focus on one thing at a time…I go from one topic to another then back to an earlier a few minutes…all everyday tasks seem overwhelming….then if I get one done its such a big releif..I wonder why it seemed such a big deal.

Im a big procastinator because everything seems overwhelming. I feel like a zombie sometimes. I stay home only go out because of necessity. After divorce (abusive), I thought I might fit the pstd symtoms, but one of my friends said bipolar, one said depression and another said ADD….I also have to take sleep pill or I’d stay up for 4 days straight. I have very creative times and energy, down at times…sometimes at the same time…whats wrong with me…help!

As well-meaning as your friends may be, they are not trained mental health professionals. You are presenting a complicated set of problems. You need professional help from someone who can take a look at the whole picture and who can give you sound advice.

You are in your 60s. You may live for 30 or more years. Please don’t wait another minute to get the assessment and treatment advice you need so the decades to come can be good ones.

I wish you well.
