From Australia: For the last month or so, I have been feeling so down. I’ve been through something like this before I think.
Nothing bad has happened to me, I don’t understand why I feel like this.
I had a stressful few months at work before this feeling started. Stressed to the point of tension headaches all day everyday.
I just want this feeling to go away! I should be happy, I’m on holidays, visiting all the people I love, that I haven’t seen for years.

I’m sorry you are feeling so miserable. Although it’s certainly possible that the stress of your job triggered a depression, it’s also very possible that there is something medical going on. For that reason, I urge you to see your medical doctor as a first step. Something as simple as a vitamin deficiency could be the cause. I’m assuming that you are getting a solid night’s sleep every night. If not, an irregular sleep pattern may be the culprit.
If you are treating your body as you should (good sleep, eating right, getting some exercise) and your doctor says you are fine physically, then I suggest you see a mental health counselor. A few sessions might be all you need to kick start feeling better again.
