I have recently experienced a number of dissociative episodes and been going to see a psychologist. The psychologist has suggested ERP. Will this help?

Here is more information about exposure response prevention. This type of treatment is often used for obsessive-compulsive disorders and if the therapist believes that this is a tool that would be helpful it certainly is worth trying.
