Many compulsive gamblers make the internet their first port of call when they realize they need help and/or need to connect with someone. Often they are in dire straits, but too embarrassed or ashamed to reach out to family and/or friends or even have face to face contact with professional services.

The aim of this online support group is to help anyone that comes to the forum by helping him or her realize he or she isn't alone in this battle (because that is how most of us feel/felt when we hit our rock bottom). Then, we will try to guide that person to seek professional help as well, by giving him or her the resources that are available, at the same time, encouraging and supporting him or her as best we can.
