PLACE proposes a modern critique and practice of psychoanalysis following the theory of Lacan. We emerged in 1998 in Los Angeles California when one of the founders decided to import his Lacanian analytic practice from Paris to Los Angeles. Today, we are an international association dedicated to creating a progress in the manner in which psychoanalysis and the mental symptom is encountered. We neither support nor recommend the use drugs such as those advertised around this text.
