Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a brief, one-on-one, non-hypnotic, person-centered technique for alleviating the effects of traumatic stress. TIR has been demonstrated to be effective on a wide variety of traumatic stress survivors including Vietnam veterans, domestic violence survivors, children, and others.
