The American Psychological Association's Division 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) has compiled some excellent information about the efficacy of psychotherapy for depression. Most notably, users may click on three different types of psychotherapy (behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, and interpersonal therapy) to find consumer-friendly summaries of clinical research findings about the relative efficacy of each type.
