Life Works Recovery Chris Lorenc MS, LPC, NCC I graduated with a Master of Science in counseling from the University of North Texas and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am in the process of working on my doctoral degree and writing a book on the process of recovery from compulsive sexual behavior due out in 2010. I spent a number of years as a clinical case manager at Sante Center For Healing, a premier addiction treatment center specializing in treating sexual addiction and addicted or impaired professionals. I worked with many issues, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and other dual diagnosis issues, including bipolar disorder. My training includes working with trauma, and I am a Level II EMDR therapist. I am gentle and compassionate with my clients, and have the insight and training necessary to break through the denial and distortions that are present. I take special care in being sure the family has the support needed to deal with the aftermath of years of addictive or maladaptive behavior. My network of referral resources includes some of the top professionals in the area.
