Coping Skills for Kids and Brain Works Project

This free and open-source learning website introduces pre-teens, their parents and teachers to brain-based coping skills lessons, activities and resources. It includes both individual exercises, quizzes and interactive features as well as suggestions for classroom or home learning projects. A free Brain Works & Coping Kids e-newsletter is available for website visitors wishing updates, news, exemplary school and home learning projects, interviews and research on brain-based coping skills. This is a "preparation for adolescence" project based on over five years of classroom evaluated demonstrations with over 500 4th through 6th graders.
