The Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association was founded in 1984 to promote public and professional awareness of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome (RSD), also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Their goal is to educate those afflicted with this syndrome, their family, friends, insurance and healthcare providers, on the disabling pain the syndrome causes.
Their site is designed to give patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and others the most up-to-date information on treatment, legislation, support groups, research, fundraising and patient stories.
The specific Fact versus Fiction page is also available.
