My personal Recovery from Schizophrenia This is a blog about my recovery from Schizophrenia. I was diagnosed in 2008 with Schizophrenia by a team of doctors at UCLA and later was given the diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder by my now psychiatrist, whom I still see.
After a few different medicines I was put on Risperdal which worked immediately and now also take Latuda. Since my diagnosis, I have earned a Masters Degree in psychology and currently work in the mental health field, mainly with children.
I am a good therapist and all positive symptoms of this disorder have left me. It has not been an easy journey. I do not wish it on anyone. But I feel compelled to help others along the way and give them hope too that recovery is possible. http://mypersonalrecoveryfromschizophrenia.wordpress.com/ -

Suicidal No More Jennifer lives with Schizoaffective Disorder, and experienced years of psychosis, suicidality, homelessness, repeated hospitalizations, and misdiagnoses before being properly diagnosed and treated. This blog chronicles her story from that dark period to treatment and recovering enough to be able to return to college, work part-time, and do public speaking to raise awareness about mental illness. http://www.suicidalnomore.com -

The Schizophrenic WriterTop Rated I am Jacob Howell, a paranoid delusional schizoaffective author whose works have recently appeared in several street newspapers and horror magazines.
Within the psychotic mind lies horrors beyond the understanding of man. Within its depths one can find a world of spies, C.I.A. agents and thought control devices. This is a world that few travel to and it is here that one can face demons from beyond. If there is a hell then surely it lies within the inner depths of the psychotic, who roams our world in a terrifying alternate state of consciousness.
I have tried to capture the inner workings of the psychotic mind through my memoir, poetry and writings, which are painted within a paranoid delusional landscape. Within these stories one can meet an endless array of persecutory monsters that haunted my mind, and still continue to haunt the minds of millions. http://www.schizophrenicwriter.com -
