New moms often experience their negative feelings and symptoms as self. Your symptoms are not you; they are not who you are. And they are 100% treatable. We guarantee you a secure and welcoming climate in which to express yourself, understand what is happening to you, problem solve, and allow your symptoms to safely disappear. Our focus is to help you feel balanced and secure in your life with your baby as quickly as possible. We understand that it can be difficult to ask for help, and want you to know this: asking for help comes from strength, not from weakness. It is completely okay for you to ask for our help.

Separated Parenting Access and Resource Center
Parenting Evaluation (PE), also called a Custody Evaluation, is a formal investigation that attempts to assess the level of each parent's respective parenting skills, and to determine which parent may be best suited to care for a child or children. A PE is usually done at the request of one of the divorcing parties, but may also be court-ordered. It involves personal interviews with the parents by trained evaluators, psychological testing of the parents and most importantly, it allows for "collateral contacts" to be interviewed. A "collateral contact" can be almost anyone; a daycare provider, family friends, employers, marriage counselors, etc etc.
