PTC/MW has about 300 members (94% regular, 6% student), including industrial/organizational psychologists, attorneys, statisticians, human resources professionals, and EEO specialists from government, business, consulting, and academia. PTC/MW has no educational requirements, but about 92% of the membership have a graduate degree, and about 64% have a Ph.D. or equivalent. About 75% of PTC/MW's members are located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, with the remaining 25% spread throughout the United States.

WICHE Mental Health Program
The Mental Health Program at the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) was established in 1955. The mission of the program is twofold: 1) to assist states in improving systems of care for mental health consumers and their families; and 2) to advance the preparation of a qualified mental health workforce in the West. The program collaborates with states to meet the challenges of changing environments through regional research and evaluation, policy analysis, program development, technical assistance, and information sharing. The focus of the program is rural behavioral health.
