WINNIPEG-- Today, the Government of Canada, the Province of Manitoba and Manitoba Hydro will launch a program for natural gas heated homes. The program will target owners of existing homes in Manitoba that use natural gas for space heating and have areas of their home that are either uninsulated or inadequately insulated.
Raymond Simard, Member of Parliament for Saint Boniface, will represent the Government of Canada on behalf of the Honourable John McCallum, Minister of National Revenue and Minister of Natural Resources. Also attending are the Honourable Dave Chomiak, Minister of Energy Science and Technology, Government of Manitoba, and Bob Brennan, President and CEO of Manitoba Hydro.
