Personal spaceflight symposium

Officials from the X Prize Foundation, Arianespace's US affiliate and Virgin Galactic will join a former NASA astronaut and the grandson of aviation pioneer Charles Lindbergh for a daylong symposium on personal spaceflight Oct. 6. The symposium will be held at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM, kicking off several days of activities that will culminate in demonstration flights of rocket hardware at the Las Cruces International Airport Oct. 9.
