Oct. 27-29 US Frontiers of Science Symposium

This annual symposium, sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences, brings together outstanding young American scientists to engage in cross-disciplinary discussions. This year's symposium will feature presentations about new findings on topics such as addiction, black holes, robot evolution, and climate change.

Details: The meeting will be held on Oct. 27-29 at the National Academies' Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center, 100 Academy Drive, Irvine, Calif. A preliminary program is available online at www.nasonline.org/usfos2005.
