MONTRÉAL -- Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), through its Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Program, is sponsoring the conference Adapting to Climate Change in Canada 2005: Understanding Risks and Building Capacity, to be held from May 4 to 6 in Montréal. Researchers and decision makers from a wide range of disciplines will share information on understanding the impacts of the changing climate and assessing and reducing the risks to Canadians.
A media relations officer from NRCan will be on-site during the conference to arrange interviews with subject matter experts.
