Groundbreaking endocrine research presented at ENDO 2005

Five topics have been selected for this years onsite press conferences reporting the most current information and recent discoveries in the field.

Day One:
Learn about the connection between natural and synthetic compunds, called endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), that mimic hormones or block hormones effects at the Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals Press Conference scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. (PST).

Day Two:
New research will discuss potential therapies to enhance the quality of life in middle-aged and post-menopausal women, enhancing the chances for young women to remain fertile after aggressive therapy for various types of leukemia and reducing the aggressive growth of breast cancer. The Women's Health Press Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (PST) Sunday, June 5, 2005.

Day Three:
During the Nutirition & Exercise Press Conference presentations will include new research highlighting a successful weight loss program, the effect unfiltered coffee has on cholesterol, physical effects of extended exposure to high altitudes on climbers and the skeletal health of rowers versus runners.

These four new studies will be featured on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. (PST).

Leading researchers are gathering during the Men's Health press conference to present the latest research on men's health issues, treatments and lifestyle practices. New findings could help doctors identify risks and treat men's conditions more effectively. Learn more on Monday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. (PST).

Closing Day:
Research to be presented at the Cardiovascular Press Conference includes new trends in Chinese medicine, new uses for growth hormone replacement therapies, risk factors of polycystic ovary syndrome and treatment for atherosclerosis. These four new studies will be presented in a press conference on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m (PST).
