Continuing its series of publications and events related to anti-aging treatments, The Gerontological Society of America has released the second and final special section of The Journals of Gerontology: Biological and Medical Sciences (Vol. 59A, No. 7).
Once again supervised by guest editors S. Jay Olshansky, PhD, Leonard Hayflick, PhD, and Thomas T. Perls, MD, MPH, this issue addresses growth hormones and supplements, legal issues associated with the practice of anti-aging medicine, and efforts to change the biological rate of aging. Eight articles are presented in total.
Under the title "Anti-Aging Medicine: The Hype and the Reality," both sections will later be combined into a single publication.
