Welcome!
Mental Health America, the nation’s leading non-profit mental health advocacy group, and Psych Central® have partnered to create this comprehensive online mental health social and information network. This network will provide consumers with the most credible, trustworthy and high-quality mental health information and community on the Internet.
Beginning with our news features on mental health, human behavior and psychology topics, LifeHelper.com will eventually include in-depth informational resources covering a wide variety of topics, including life problems, mental health issues, parenting, and more.
LifeHelper.com will feature content from both organizations, including daily news articles, research briefs, book reviews, interviews with leading experts, and online community forums.
We also enable people to personalize our content based upon each individual’s specific needs. For example, if someone is interested in the topic of depression, he or she will be able to sign up for a depression-specific weekly newsletter from our site.
Today, we’re in a “beta” format, meaning that we are adding new content and features, and fixing the occasional bug on a daily basis. If you have any suggestions for us during this time, please, contact us to let us know!
About Our Funding
At present, LifeHelper.com is funded solely through its sponsoring organizations, Mental Health America and Psych Central. However, we are presently seeking a range of sponsors for our site and services. If you’re interested in sponsorship of a section of the LifeHelper.com website, please contact our sponsorship agent.
