Performance Anxiety

By Renée Grinnell

Also known as stage fright; refers to fears or phobias concerning public presentations. The term is also commonly used to refer to anxiety-related sexual dysfunction.

Example: Although she had practiced the routine countless times at home, the little girl was so nervous at her dance recital that she forgot more than half the choreography for her piece.
