Behaviorism

A psychological philosophy which states that all actions, thoughts, and feelings can be considered behaviors subject to scientific examination. No distinction is made between public processes (actions) and private ones (thoughts and feelings). In contrast to behaviorism is the field of cognitive psychology, which examines mental processes.
