Hi Dr. Grohol, I’m very happy I found this site. I am a survivor of Bipolar (I use the word survivor because it takes survival skills to live with it) since diagnosed at 15 so for 22 years now. My husband of 18 years and myself write about bipolar in my blog, one from my perspective and writing on his perspective living and supporting a spouse who is Bipolar.
You have alot of interesting and very useful content I’ll be reading on a regular basis. I’m also involved in volunteering in my regions Distress Centre and help raise awareness on Suicide prevention along with attending weekly seminars held in our region on different topics regarding mental health concerns. I will also be writing and posting about those seminars. We need to raise continued awareness on mental health hoping to end the stigma through education.
Thank you for your dedication on helping people to understand the reality of mental health
I couldn’t get on the site. It kept telling me my Email was invalid. Anyone else having problems?
Beacon sounds like a great program and I can understand why they would want to gather more data to increase effectiveness.
