Yes. That’s because we are pack animals. Once one of us panics, it spreads through the herd like wild fire and before you know it, we’re all stampeding off a cliff. It takes a lot of energy to stop, keep the frontal lobes engaged, and walk, not run, in a totally different direction.

One sort of side benefit of the recession is that many people are waking up to the emotional and spiritual imbalance that occurs when we embrace the belief that we are our material & financial assets rather than the content of our character and the quality of our relationships.
