Dr. Ivan wrote his Internet Addiction post as a *joke*. It seems to be lost on most of the people who read it.
To hopefully attract Ginko100 to this posting, I hope you read it all and digest Dr Grohol’s repeated dismissals there is internet addiction.

I LOVED this article. I’m so glad that I found it and read it. Staying at home is indeed very isolating. Although I ADORE my children and LOVE spending the day with them, I also miss that adult interaction. The internet helps with that for me. Maybe some people can get lost in it, but ‘addiction’???? Really???? It sounds to me that in those cases there’s probably WAY more to the story…. I definitely believe the flawed research points in this article..
