7 Tips to Boost Your Energy FastA feeling of energy is a key to feeling happy.

Studies show that when you feel energetic, you feel much better about yourself.

On the other hand, when you feel exhausted, tasks that would ordinarily make you happy — like putting up holiday decorations, getting ready to go to a party, or planning a trip — make you feel overwhelmed and blue.

When my energy feels at a low ebb, I try one of these techniques (well, first I drink something with caffeine in it, but if I feel like I need to take further steps, I try these strategies).

  1. I think simple changes in what I eat have a big influence on my energy level. Some things I eat/drink to boost my energy level are fruit salad and yogurt, water with crushed mint leaves, coconut water, lemonade (with real lemons, go easy on the sugar!. Don’t be skimpy and get powder mix. It makes a huge difference, trust me!!), frozen seedless grapes, EAT A DECENT BREAKFAST. Eating a decent breakfast is SO important, and it may take a couple days to get used to, but it really does wake your body’s systems up, and it can even help keep extra pounds off. Also, keep a reusable water bottle with you all the time, and fill it up often!! With water, lemon water, mint water, coconut water, etc. as long as its water!!! Your brain is 75% water, and the majority of people don’t get nearly as much water as their body needs. Drink even if you aren’t really thirsty, it keeps you moving! That’s all I can think of at the moment, hope this helps someone!!
