  3. Moderation and perspective, I agree with. But I know too many people who have no idea what is going on in the world. Although they live their lives and are presumably satisfied, how can they ever affect anything if they don’t know what’s going on outside of their sphere? How can they vote? At the time when people are ready to die, these things cease to matter to them, but I’m not sure that one should encourage it any earlier.
