  1. I’m in my mid 50’s and now live in the country and have lost all my friends thru moving and a busy life raising my children and helping with grandchildren.
I’m still happily married to my best friend but wish I had a few girlfriends to talk to have lunch with and shop sometimes.
Where can I meet people to do things with?

  2. I talk to people in stores or at the library but most look at a woman who is buy herself like she is some kind of weirdo or something. I have a small dog that i take for walks, but that doesn’t work either.

  3. My mothe ris almost 80 and she has enough friends for ALL of us on this site.
    I don’t know why I can’t make friends.

  4. I’m in my 50s and like someone here says, feel like i have two personalities. In school as a teenager I had good friends. Then, career, a family and a few decades later, whatever friendships I had dissipated through the lack of nurturing. I have a wonderful family and husband. But it isn’t enough, and I do feel lonely and incomplete. I wish I had just a couple of close friends.

  5. I’ve hears all type of stuff before and if you are looking for older people for simple companionship, then yes, it is likely to work. If however, you work in a proffessional environment full of married people and you want to mix with single folk and chase after attractive young women who go out on student nights and find like-minded make friends, the above type of advice is as much use as flying to the moon. Anyone any ideas on how to meet attractive young women (not 35 plus!!!) and gain friendship with like minded men, because all the similar advice out there is completely useless, I knoe cos I’ve tried it!!!

  6. These are all well and good if you’re a person who wants friends. But I’m an introvert who doesn’t need companionship. My books and music are my companions. And that’s the way I like it.

  7. neeeeeeeeeed friends .i’m a carpenter living in kerala [God’s own country] like to contact with differant type people
