  1. All of these are good tips, and I use all of them myself. I do not, however, have a job that often presents me an opportunity to walk away, go outside, or listen to music. Solitude, I thought (working in 1 of 30 cubicles), was impossible. I have since found that going into a restroom and standing in a stall (whether I have to go or not) will get me 5 – 10 minutes of peace where my pager doesn’t matter, nobody asks me questions, and my boss won’t follow me.

  2. These are great suggestions. In addition, I came across a study about how improving your physical balance can decrease anxiety. I just posted a summary of it on my blog:

I hope people find it helpful.

  3. Thank you all for your comments! T

  5. This is so helpful. My sister is so annoying so this is very relaxing.

  6. The best ways to calm you down is to wash your face with water, drink water and sit on the floor

  7. Thanks! It really helps me in this time of high anxiety. I’ve done all of these and they help a lot.
