  1. My problem with it is that the information *is* out there for people if they are interested – they just have to look for it. Granted, it would be in the best interest of health if companies posted it themselves, but in this day and age a person can hop onto the internet and find the information they need pretty quickly if they are motivated.

    People need to take personal responsibility too.

  2. I personally hate that the calorie content is posted. YOu don’t have to be agenuis to know a burger at mcDonalds is bad for you! I am a vegetarian and it is hard enough for me to find food I can eat when I go out with family or my boyfriend who DO eat meat. The local diner has the calorie content posted on their menu and I was horrified to see the Bread Bowl salad I get was over 1,000 calories! I can’t even imagine how. So now I can’t bring myself to eat there. Sometimes, it’s nice to just not know!
