I’d like to contribute a quote.
The language is very male-oriented for today, but the point is a great one. It’s by Theodore Roosevelt, 32nd President of the US, who was a conservationist and gave us some of our many beautiful national parks.

I don’t know that we will all dare greatly, but we can all persevere with what is important to us.
Why are you so concerned about the language being male, do you have insecurity around language? What meaning have you chose to put into these quotes? Are you projecting issues and wounds from your past into the present and this forum?
