Excellent update/information. I went to the entire article, thank you for the link.
Adult info particularly helpful, that symptom evaluation is being fine-tuned, and that they are looking at long-term (in)effectiveness of meds. Adult ADHD/inattentive here, VERY small dose of dextromethamphetamine extremely helpful (far superior to Adderall for me and about 1/4 the cost), but as time goes by, attention is waning.
I hope you’ll post other articles or follow-up to this study group.
This is a faulty study as it involves two variables — prevalence and symptoms. For example, the prevalence of ADHD in both Finland and the US would have to be the same so you would have a controlled variable to study symptoms. Shame on this researcher for violating one of the most important rules of research.
