The previous poster has a good point; a better name for it might be Media Addiction.
Hey everyone knows there’s “nothing good on tv”… the idea that one can feed one’s own addiction’s preferences through the internet differentiates it from media addiction. IMHO, while labeling can be overdone, maybe this will help people realize how many problems society is experiencing because of the internet. My own ideas about road rage also link to the internet, where people are so used to being it’s sole controller. ME, ME, ME and RIGHT NOW is the theme…this attitude is taken to the roadways: VIOLA! Road rage.
When I read this post I had the remote in one hand watching the history channel, balancing my laptop in my lap with my other hand scrolling down the page. I just love information!
