But what about all those hurting artists, whose pain is the source of creativity? Well..maybe mood is different than the experience of pain…what say?
to answer Ankur’s question, artists are inspired to write and express the way they FELT when they were in pain…a famous guitarist Steve Vai apparently starves himself to get in a “mood” for writing, personally in my experience it’s being happy and fresh, and also NOT using any parts of the left side of the brain (logic, language, factual interpretation) is key to creativity…hopefully that gave you a little insight
