  1. I have a picky eating disorder. Who do I see about this. A nutritionalist, dietician, or psychologist? I have already been to a nutritionist and they just said eat more veggies, fruits, and meats. Still I am picky.

  2. i have the same problem which gets so bad that i can not go out to eat or go to holidays with my boyfriend because i am embarrassed … i dont know who to see either but i know i need help

  3. Hey,

You should check out http://www.fussy-eaters.com – a great resource that I’ve found helpful, hypnotherapy was effective for me.

    Good luck!

  4. My name is Emma and I am 14 years old. M parents used to try and make me eat what was served at dinner, but they eventually gave up. They used to say if I didn’t eat what was served I wouldn’t be able to eat at all, so I didn’t eat. I do not eat any vegetables. The only fruit I like are raspberries and sometimes apples. The only meat I eat is burned bacon and well cooked pepperoni on pizza. That pretty much leaves carbs. I mostly eat chips, cheese, and bread. My family always trys to joke about my eating in public to spare their embarrassment. They think I am just stubborn and won’t eat certain foods. I try to tell them that certain textured food make me feel sick and I just can’t eat it but they never believe me. I am 14 which means I will soon be old enough to go on dates. I don’t want to have to turn people down just because they ask be to dinner.

  5. I just read this article that talks about picky eaters and I think my daughter needs help. She has been like this since she was a toddler and now she is 14 and only eats grill cheese sandwich and pasta alfredo (home made only), for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I prepare something different for her to try and she simply won’t eat it and prefer to be without eating all day long.

  6. I read the article, I’ve been a picky eater my entire life. I think it’s a matter of likes or dislike of food. I became this way because my mother and grandmother used to force feed me. I also realized that some people don’t clean food properly or cook it long enough.
