We’re proud to be an exhibitor at Alternatives 2011 in Orlando, FL October 26 – 30, 2011 at the Caribe Royale. This conference bills itself as the “oldest national mental health conference organized by and for mental health consumers/survivors.” This will be our first consumer conference we’re exhibiting at, and we’re looking forward to talking to attendees about their needs for online support and recovery resources and communities.
Registration is a hefty $450 for the entire conference, or $165 for one day. Here’s the conference program if you’re interested in more information.
So if you’re one of the expected 700 people who come out to this conference every year, please be sure to stop by and say, “Hi!” to us in the exhibitor’s area. We’re giving out a free stress relief tool — a squishy brain! — as well as educational information.
We’ll also be recording video of consumer and survivor’s stories for posting online, so if you have a story you’d like to tell, we’d love to hear. Come to our booth for more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
