Both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams who were on the committee to write the Declaration of Independence in 1776, died on July 4, 1826. Jefferson had been in a coma for two days. Adams woke that morning feeling fine and joined the day's celebrations but by evening fell ill and died. Kind of sends a chill up your spine doesn't it? Happy 4th All,
