This is great! I have a blog as well although I deleted the one that goes back to 2007. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder then and looking back, my writing went from the darkest of despair to the most scintillating of happiness! I went on Lamictal because of a failed relationship and what my blog is now about is the effects of Lamictal in attempt to stabilize and get my man back :) The blog used to be called "the Standard Deviation" but now it's "Regression to the Mean." Stats phenomena but I reinterpreted the meanings.

These are all very good blogs about people's experience of bipolar disorder. Many people with bipolar disorder find it hard to live with, and so reading other people's blogs about their experience with the disorder can help them understand that at least they are not alone. I encourage all of those people out there living with bipolar to write a blog about their experience if they wish, as it is very insightful for those who do not live with the disorder and very helpful for those that do.

Sometimes living with someone who has bipolar is very difficult and if its a child it can be very very hard. My child has bipolar and I found help and advice to help me and him with anger management for children.

[...] You can’t have a blog without a blogroll, so I’ve created one here. With the exception of Blog Them Out of the Stone Age (my military history blog), all of them deal primarily with bipolar disorder. I’ve encountered one or two of them before. The rest are drawn mainly, though not exclusively, from PsychCentral’s list of the Top Ten Bipolar Blogs of 2008. [...]

Another great bipolar-related blog by my friend, George Denslow, author of Living Out of Darkness: a personal journey of embracing the bipolar opportunity. Read it (or order the book) here: www.LivingOutofDarkness.com

A little more about George and his book: "Living Out of Darkness: A personal journey of embracing the bipolar opportunity, illustrates through words, George Denslow’s journey of conscious unmedicated spiritual engagement with his bipolar experience. George’s navigation through extremes of the inner human terrain shines forth like a beacon in the dark of the underworld maze of psychological suffering. Denslow’s sharing is not a clinical dissertation on how to treat bipolar. It is a true, practical, written on the ground, map of what he has discovered living the terrain himself."

p.s. I included his e-mail and webpage above, instead of mine, for anyone who wants to contact him.

This is a website/blog hybrid and description:

This is meant to show the thought process, emotions, and thoughts of people who have bipolar disorder in a way that has not been done before. It is a project to make sense out of the feelings we experience. To describe emotions and thoughts that are so overwhelming and difficult to describe. Read the free outline if you are interested. The website tracks the development that we are making.
