Psych Central is pleased to announce the formal launch of our Medication Library. Unlike most medication databases online today, Psych Central’s listing of psychiatric medications allows people to rate and review their own experiences with medications — the good, the bad, and the ugly.
So instead of just getting the usual — side effects, contraindications, etc. — from a medications library, you’re getting useful additional information of other people’s experiences with the medication. This gives you additional information about a medication before you and your doctor decide that it is a medication you should try. For instance, if you find one medication seems to be better tolerated with less side effects than another, you might choose the better-tolerated medication to try first.
You can check out the Medications Library now and add your own reviews and ratings for medications you’re familiar with.
