FDA Approves ADHD Patch for Kids

The FDA has approved Daytrana, the first skin patch as an alternative treatment for ADHD in children aged 6-12. It’s designed to be worn for 9 hours (originally submitted to the FDA as a longer-lasting delivery, they were asked to make it shorter), and releases the stimulant methylphenidate.
