Q. I've been struggling for depression for a long time, exactly how long I'm not sure, but I know thoughts of suicide have been present since I was 14. I've waited this long to reach out for help, but when I tried to tell my mom, even telling her about my suicide thoughts, she didn't do anything, even though I asked for an appointment with the doctor. That was about a year ago when I told her and I'm just now trying again to find help elsewhere, because the suicidal thoughts are becoming really casual, like having a conversation with a friend, I'll tell myself one morning "maybe I could overdose on Aspirin..." or something. Q. My family and I moved to WA when I was 12. Shortly after that I began pulling out my hair. I would wake up at least 3 times every night. I had stopped pulling out my hair at the begging of 8th grade (13 yrs. old) and had replaced the behavior with every eating disorder except bulima. Q. My boyfriend's ex-wife is giving us fits. When it comes to anything, she has to have total "control" over it; it has to be her way or no way. Q. My father is approaching fifty, and when I still lived with my parents, he seemed to me very unstable and difficult to live with. Some of his behaviour is just outrageous in retrospect, but it's amazing, my family chooses to ignore it and never talk about it. First off, he has told me that he can hear my thoughts. I'm serious! Q. I have been dealing with severe PTSD for the past decade, a majority of it stemming from child abuse, neglect and abandonment. I worked weekly with my therapist for 9 years.
