Q. When i was on prozac, my libido was unaffected. i was fine. now
i’ve been put on depakote and lamictal and i’m amazed at the difference. i have no desire for sex. what could be the difference in the meds? i know chemically how they are different but don’t understand the libido issue.
A. All medications will affect every one differently and it’s entirely possible that in some cases, medications can eliminate your sex drive. Questions pertaining to drug interactions are best answered by your prescribing physician.
